WEEK 4 - TERM 4 WORKSHOPS AND TUTORIALS

NCEA EXAM INFORMATION

Admission Slips:

Your exam admission slips should have been handed out to you by kaiarahi (whānau teachers) in Whānau - check with your Kaiarahi if you have not got yours.  Please check these slips carefully and confirm that all your entries are correct.  Any entries made into external exams after October 1st will not be on your exam slip.  Mark has a list of all these and has printed out new ones and signed them.  Come and see him in the SLT office to collect it.  Keep the slip safe as you will need it to enter into exams.  See Mark if you lose it.

Exam Assembly and Information:

There was an exam assembly with further information pertaining to the exams on Tuesday 21 October .  If you were absent on that day or want to remind yourself of the information, here is the information slideshow.  A detailed exam information booklet was also given out at the assembly. Here is a digital copy.  Do take time to make sure you are familiar with the rules and procedures related to exams in advance of your first exam.

Derived Grade applications:

If you are sick of suffer a calamity that prevents you from attending an exam, or if you are feeling sick during the exam and feel as though this has impacted your performance, you may be eligible to apply for a derived grade based on your Term 3 practice exam grade. More information about this can be found here and the application form is here.

If you have any further questions about the exams, please email markmortensen@rhs.school.nz or come and see me in the SLT office.
